Scribings
About
In Scribings, you will be introduced to a piece of art, which will be the focus of the workshop. As a group, We will use the piece of art as a catalyst for conversation, exploring what the art makes you think and feel. You will then be guided through a creative writing process in which you will write a piece in response to the art. All writers are welcome; poets, playwrights, lyricists, and songwriters alike. We also welcome those who have an interest in writing or developing writing as a skill. At the end of the workshop We will share our creations before revealing the original spoken word poem that was inspired by the piece of art used in the session.
These workshops are led by international poet and writer Solomon The Wizard. With his innovative and creative wordplay SoloMan is taking on the poetry/spoken word scene word by word, captivating audiences with his spellbinding poetry. SoloMan is a truly unique poet delivering incredibly powerful messages in order to walk in his purpose which is to spread love. The Wizard of Many Names boasts a bellowing baritone and a depth of knowledge to match. Those who have seen him in action will testify to the power of this lyrical time traveller and mystic unraveller of mysteries.
